Northern Notes & Nurturing began with a simple belief: that in a world that never stops moving, we all need a place to land. Inspired by the serene, grounding energy of the North, I wanted to create a space where creativity meets wellness.
Whether it's the scratch of a pen on a fresh page or the comfort of a perfectly curated bundle, every item here is chosen to help you slow down, breathe, and nurture your own unique story.
The love that I have for my Northwoods, colors, and themes has led me to this wonderful new opportunity. Today, that love is reflected in a growing collection of handmade and curated goods. Whether it’s our themed tote bags, stickers, or our unique printed pencil holders and cell phone stands, each item is designed to be both beautiful and useful.
A piece of my heart—and the shoreline—goes into our Big Lake Bundles. These little 3D boats feature an agate from out trips along Lake Superior shores.
Northern Notes & Nurturing is truly a family venture. My husband is in our workshop, bringing our custom designs to life. He 3D prints our signature Black Bear pencil holders for the Deep Woods Bundle and our Wave pencil holders for the Big Lake Bundle, as well as the cell phone holders found in all our other collections. By combining these modern techniques with the natural treasures we find together, we’re able to create one-of-a-kind pieces that you won’t find anywhere else.
